Who is a former student?

A former student is a person who has not taken a course at CCAC for 366 days or longer. If a person is within the 366 days, they are still considered a CCAC student and can reset/forgot their password‍.

If you have not taken a course in more than 366 days, your previous NetID account has expired, and you must follow the process in this article to create a temporary account.

How long will a temporary account last?

The temporary account will be active for 6 months from the time of its creation. If you need an account for longer than that, you will need to recreate the account again.

Creating a temporary account

To create the account, you will need to go to netid.ccac.edu and follow the prompts. You will be asked to provide either your 7-Digit Student Number‍ or other identifying information during the reactivation process. See Creating Your CCAC NetID and Password for more information on creating your account.

What access does a temporary account have?

Delete

A former account does NOT have access to all CCAC systems. Expand the lists below to view what a former student account can and cannot access.

Cannot Access

  • MyCCAC Hub
  • Blackboard
  • CCAC Email

Note: Once your account expires, you will no longer have access to your email messages from your previous student account.

How can I get a Fully Activated Account?

You must be registered for a course for the current or upcoming semester.

If you created a temporary account and register for a course within the 6 month window, your account will be given full student access within the following 24 hours.
