Please make sure you have set up the Microsoft Multi-Factor Authentication before trying to log in
If you have not yet setup the Microsoft Multi-Factor Authentication there are instructions available in the Help Center article titled Adding Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to your account using Microsoft Authenticator.
The latest instructions on how to sign in using Microsoft Multi-Factor Authentication are available directly on the Microsoft website.
- Go to any website or application that requires authentication, such as https://m365.cloud.microsoft/
- Enter your CCAC Email address and click Next
- Enter your CCAC Password and click Sign in
Verify your identity using the Microsoft Authenticator app
- Tap or Click the popup on your phone saying ‘Approve sign-in?’.
- Enter the number shown on the computer screen into the phone
- Tap or Click Approve on your phone
- If you are using a computer that only you have access to, you can click Yes when asked if you would like to "Stay signed in?"
- You will then be redirected back to the site you were trying to access.
Verify using a text message
- You will get a text message saying “Use verification code xxxxxx for Microsoft authentication”.
- Enter the numbers shown in your text message where it says Code on the login page on the computer
- Click Verify
- If you are using a computer that only you have access to, you can click Yes when asked if you would like to "Stay signed in?"
- You will then be redirected back to the site you were trying to access.
