Installer Information

This installation will include: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Teams, Publisher, Access and Skype

  1. Go to https://portal.office.com/account 
  2. Login using your CCAC Email Address, then click
  3. Enter your password, then click
  4. Click the Install Office button 
    If you need a specific Language or Version, choose the View apps & devices button
  5. A download will occur, and you will be prompted with an installation wizard
  6. The installation will begin, it may take time, depending on your computer's speed 
  7. Once the install is complete, click the close button.
  8. Open an application (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  9. Activate your Office account by clicking the Continue button
  10. Activate using your CCAC Email Address, then click the Next button
  11. Enter your CCAC Password, then click the Sign In button
  12. Allow "my organization to manage my device," then click the Ok button 
    This will allow you to sign into all Office products on the device once, including Office Online services.  
  13. Click the Done button

 

If you click on the Account Tab, you will be able to see your Account and Subscription Information.

 

Mac

Installer Information

This install will include: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Teams and Skype

Warning

Access and Publisher are for Windows computers only. These two applications are not available for Macs.

  1. Go to https://portal.office.com/account
  2. Login using your CCAC Email Address, then click
  3. Enter your password, then click
  4. Click the Install Office button 
    If you need a specific Language or Version, choose the View apps & devices button
  5. The download will begin, a popup will appear allowing downloading, click Allow
  6. A download will begin 
  7. Once the download completes, the installer will begin, click the Continue button
  8. Click the Agree button to accept the install
  9. Choose your installation destination to install to, click Continue button
  10. Click Use Password.. button and enter your Apple ID Username and Password for the computer 
    If you have Touch ID, you can also use this to enter your information.
  11. click the Install button
  12. Once complete, click the Close button
  13. Open Launchpad
  14. Navigate and open Microsoft Word
  15. Click the Get Started button
  16. Activate using your CCAC Email Address, then click the Next button 
  17. Enter your CCAC Password, then click the Sign In button 

iPhone / iPad

  1. Open the App Store
  2. Search "Microsoft Office"
  3. Click the Get button
  4. Open the App
  5. Click the Agree button to agree to the terms
  6. Enter your CCAC email address, click the Next button
  7. The Single sign-on (SSO) screen will appear
  8. Enter your CCAC email address
  9. Enter your password

Android/Chromebooks

  1. Open the Google Play Store
  2. Search "Microsoft Office"
  3. Click the Install button
  4. Open the App
  5. Click the Agree button to agree to the terms
  6. Enter your CCAC email address
  7. The Single sign-on (SSO) screen will appear
  8. Enter your CCAC email address
  9. Enter your password

Web Browser

NOTE

You will not be installing any applications onto your device. You will be using the web browser version of the app and it will be saved to your OneDrive. 

  1. From a web browser, go to https://portal.office.com/?tenantId=ccac.edu
  2. Enter your CCAC email address, click the Next button
  3. Enter your CCAC password, click the Next button
  4. Choose the option Yes or No depending on if you are using a public computer
  5. Use the left side menu to select what Web App you'd like to use
