Use Case

Sending prospective or students not yet enrolled, email communications. Once an email is sent, the email is visible in the person's profile. These emails are tracked by a unique identifier and can be send out from a department if setup in Recruit.

Other Information

  • This system is owned my Admissions
  • Can be used for events and event tracking
  • Student funnel cycle can be tracked
  • Emails can be plain text or styled, if styled coding is required
  • Emails can be personalized, based on data points in Recruit

Signal Vine

Use Case

Sending prospective or students not yet enrolled, text message communications. These messages can be a 2-way conversation, a reply/auto-respond or informational. Once a message is sent, it is visible in the person's profile for that specific department/program.

Other Information

  • Data analytics are available 
  • The ITS department must setup a data feed and create a program before a message can be sent out. This may take up to 2 weeks. For other advanced text message campaigns, a 2-week notice is needed.

Similar to a billboard, outdoor signage is a way to communicate with the public what is happening at that location or college wide.

Similar to a billboard, a flyer is a way to communicate with people about events happening at that location or college wide. Many locations have a bulletin board posted to place a flyer.

Other Information

  • Providing a QR code or information to learn more, such as a webpage, is a good idea
  • Make sure all the information about the event is on the flyer
  • You are responsible for removing the flyer once the event takes place

Email is a digital form of communication. Once an email is sent, that email is placed in your sent mailbox, and into the recipient's inbox. Email can consist of text, links and graphics

Mass Email Distribution uses Colleague data to build dynamic distribution lists. An email is designed and built out, once an email is sent or scheduled to be sent, it will go into the recipient's inbox. Email can consist of text, links and graphics
