Away Message Template
I am currently out of the office but will respond when I return to the office on DAY, ##/##. For related requests/issues, please contact PERSON FIRST & LAST NAME, JOB TITLE, for assistance at (###) ###-#### or email them at username@ccac.edu.
Outlook
- Open Outlook
- Click on File
- Click Info
- Click Automatic Replies
- Turn on Automatic Replies
- If you want, you can set a date and time for the away message to send
- Enter text that you want to send to people in the college
- Enter text that you want to send to people outside the college
- Click Ok button to save
Browser / OWA
- Go to https://outlook.office365.com/mail/
- Click on the Gear
- Scroll down and click Automatic replies
- Click to toggle Automatic replies on
- To set a specific time frame, click Send replies only during a time period
- Choose a Start and End time
- Click Block my calendar for this period and give a title to the event ensure no meetings are scheduled during your out-of-office time
- Scroll down and enter text that you want to send to people in the college
- Scroll down and enter text that you want to send to people outside the college
- Click the Save option
